Chase Tag is a rapidly emerging urban sport. A game of 1 on 1 tag, but with obstacles in the middle. An ideal combination of freerunning and tag at a high level. You have to tag or avoid the other person within 20 seconds.
The first Dutch Chase Tag quad is that of the Chase Tag Academy in Alphen aan den Rijn. Our mission is to bring as many people as possible into contact with/to provide more insight into the sport. Chase Tag is an accessible sport. Everyone can play tag! You just have to be careful not to hit your head.
During the lessons you will learn all the ins & outs, the rules of the game, and how to move around the track as safely and smoothly as possible. Through our lessons we want to start competitions, so that Chase Tag can also grow into a sport at an international level in the Netherlands.

Chase Tag Academy is ontstaan uit het Chase Tag-team Ugen, met teamleden uit de UK en uit Nederland. Daarom zijn wij zowel in Nederland als in Engeland gevestigd.
Team Urban Generations (UGEN) speelt Chase Tag in internationale competities. Het van origine Londense team bestaat uit Haroon Hanafi, Dayne Nembhard, Richard Thompson, Dave Hogenboom, Emil Sieciechowicz en Sam van Rijn.

Chase Tag Academy originated from the Chase Tag team Ugen, with team members from the UK and the Netherlands. Team Urban Generations (UGEN) plays Chase Tag in international competitions. The originally London team currently consists of Haroon Hanafi, Richard Thompson, Dave Hogenboom, Sam van Rijn, Orlando Devaux, Luke Horner, Mohamed Ayari, Dayne Nembhard and Jesse Redegeld. In 2023, Dave Hoogenboom decides that training close to home is fun. And so the Chase Tag Academy was born, where others are also enthusiastic about this spectacular sport. All our coaches are Chase Taggers and freerunners through and through and will help you achieve your Chase Tag dreams.
